Political Geography
Country - an identifiable land area, a piece of geography
Nation - a population with a common culture, larger then a single tribe or community
State - a population under a single government, Synonymous with ''country''
Nation-State - a culture under a single government, a nation which as the same borders as a state
Independent-State - boundaries, organized economy, education, transportation, government, sovereignty, external recognition
Today in class we learned about five political geography term. We also took the religions test which I failed because I didn't know that the first part of the test was going to be on there but that's okay because its really early in the quarter and I can still get my grade back up.
